Through the Health with Heart campaign, Auburn Community Hospital has a vision to build a comprehensive bone and joint orthopedic center, increasing our investments in new technology to allow this practice to grow and serve this community; securing and outfitting new space for orthopedics patients is on the horizon.

The Auburn Heart Institute

For those in Auburn and Cayuga County, the risk of dying from heart disease is significantly higher than other parts of New York State. We are losing too many members of our community because they can’t travel to access the care they need. Our answer? A new home - and new level - of cardiovascular care in the heart of the hospital complex. The Heart Institute will offer many cardiac care services, from diagnostic testing to a cardiac catheterization laboratory, and the long-term vision is to perform procedures and surgeries at the facility.

With the opening of our ground-breaking new home for cancer care on our campus, a new era of patient care and treatment has been ushered into Auburn. With your generosity, we can expand our oncology services, bringing cutting-edge treatments closer to home and alleviating the burden on those who are already carrying so much.

Women’s Health & Wellness

Establishing a comprehensive women’s health and wellness center is of paramount importance in addressing the unique and evolving healthcare needs of women. This will be a center where a spectrum of specialized services can be offered, ranging from gynecological care to maternal health, reproductive medicine, and preventive screenings. By consolidating these services, we ensure that women receive holistic and integrated healthcare tailored to their specific requirements. Beyond medical treatment, the center will also serve as a hub for educational programs, support groups, and community outreach initiatives, fostering a culture of proactive health management.

Expanded Parking Facility

The construction of an expanded parking facility at the hospital marks a significant step toward enhancing overall patient experience and accessibility. With the increasing demand for healthcare services, providing ample and convenient parking is crucial in minimizing stress for patients and their families during already challenging times.
New Emergency Department

In keeping with the ever-growing demand for prompt and advanced emergency medical care, our hospital will embark on a plan to develop a streamlined, larger emergency room. Build on the success of our Core Laboratory

Auburn Community Hospital & Abbott Laboratories Inc. have partnered to introduce the newest laboratory technology in the U.S. ACH has become the first institution in the United States to introduce the Abbott Diagnostics Alinity h-series into its Core Laboratory. This cutting-edge hematology automation system will facilitate the seamless measurement of complete blood counts, a crucial healthcare test widely ordered for patients.
